Our factory-certified field service technicians are recognized experts in all aspects of Caterpillar machines and power systems. That means they can make virtually any repair on the spot, even creating custom designed and fabricated solutions if necessary.
Training is a continuous, never-ending process for all HOLT CAT technicians. The rapid growth of newer, higher-tech diagnostic tools, systems and components demands it. We also want our technicians to pursue areas of specialization so they can achieve advanced expertise in a particular system.
Much of this training takes place at HOLT® ProTech, our technical training division. With training centers in San Antonio and Dallas, it’s the most advanced technical training institution of its type in the industry. ProTech is also a Regional Dealer Learning Center for Caterpillar, Inc. and has also achieved Service Training Excellence accreditation from Caterpillar.
Using state-of-the-art technology, our highly experienced and certified training faculty guide technicians through a variety of instructional classes and hands-on exercises on troubleshooting, repairing, rebuilding Caterpillar Machines, Caterpillar Petroleum Transmissions, Agribusiness products, and Link-Belt cranes. Our training centers feature multiple teaching bays and an engine troubleshooting lab.
In addition to HOLT techs, HOLT ProTech annually trains thousands of other Cat dealer technicians from around the U.S. and the world, including Canada, Brazil, India, Russia, Spain, Mexico, Panama, and Singapore.
